Greenfields Coffee Specialty COLOMBIA DECAF Capsule Coffee for Nespresso Machines

DECAF ARABICA SPECIALTY CAPSULE COFFEE BY GREENFIELDS COFFEE

Bold capsule coffee is MADE AT Greenfields Coffee. Pure coffee, roasted and ground to a standard fineness, is then pressed into small aluminum capsules about 4cm tall.

Delicious coffee with the caffeine removed (over 97% of the caffeine in green coffee beans), yet with its aroma and flavor fully preserved. You can enjoy a cup that tastes just like regular coffee, without the jitters.

Decaffeination with Ethyl Acetate (EA)

This process is called the sugarcane process because ethyl acetate, or EA, is used to remove caffeine from coffee. EA is a natural compound derived from sugarcane that can be found in fruit and other foods. Derived from sugar, EA binds to the chlorogenic acids associated with caffeine. Once EA binds to the chlorogenic acids, the process of separating the caffeine from the coffee beans begins.

Each cup of Arabica Decaf capsule coffee has a light body with notes of berries, brown sugar and milk chocolate.

Each box of Arabica Decaf capsule coffee contains 10 capsules, for use with a home/office capsule machine. The capsules are made from ground coffee beans and compressed using thermoelectric technology.
